In Motion Fit is a running club born out of a love for the sport of running as well as a desire to live healthy. We have members of all different ability levels; each with different goals. Some of the reasons our members train are to run a marathon or half marathon, achieve a goal, lose weight, build strength, get healthy, make new friends, build a positive mental attitude and much more!

Knowing our members are diverse in abilities and goals, we tailored a program inclusive to all. Whether you are a marathon maniac or new to the sport altogether, our training program can be customized to your needs and goals. Our program is the ultimate blend of specialized training and a fun, welcoming environment for members of all ages.

 

Here’s how it works…

The In Motion Fit training program is made up of three seasons geared toward running the Half Marathon Triple Crown events. Our winter season training is focused on running the Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Marathon and running or walking the Tri-City Medical Center Carlsbad Half Marathon, our spring season is geared toward running the La Jolla Half Marathon and our summer season training is focused on running the America’s Finest City Half Marathon. Participants are able to sign up for one season at a time or for all three seasons at once. Though all three seasons focus on a specific event, we welcome members who are looking for a steady running group or an opportunity to get in shape. 2019 Winter In Motion Fit Season
Objective: Carlsbad Marathon & Half training
Program Length: 18 weeks
Starts: Saturday, September 15
Price: $90
Location: San Diego – Mission Bay l Carlsbad – West Inn and Suites
Half Marathon Requirements: Participants should already be running/walking 10-15 miles per week, with long runs/walks of at least 3-5 miles.
Full Marathon Requirements: Participants should already be running 15-25 miles per week, with long runs of at least 8-10 miles.  


2019 Spring In Motion Fit Season

Objective: La Jolla Half Marathon training
Program Length: 12 weeks
Starts: Saturday, February 9
Price: $75
Location: San Diego l Carlsbad
Requirements: Participants should already be running 10-15 miles per week, with long runs of at least 4-6 miles.   

2019 Summer In Motion Fit Season
Objective: America’s Finest City Half Marathon training
Program Length: 12 weeks
Starts: Saturday, May 25 
Price: $75
Location: San Diego l Carlsbad
Requirements: Participants should already be running 10-15 miles per week, with long runs of at least 4-6 miles.
